Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of MCP Media Engine (the “Service”), operated by MediaEngine API (“we”, “us”). By using the Service you agree to these Terms.

The Service

MCP Media Engine provides an API and MCP server for asynchronous media generation. We may update, add, or remove features over time. Models and pricing are described on our pricing page and may change with notice.

Accounts & API keys

You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your API keys secure. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. You must be able to form a binding contract to use the Service.

Acceptable use

  • Do not use the Service to generate unlawful, infringing, or harmful content.
  • Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or circumvent rate limits or security controls.
  • Do not resell or misrepresent the Service in violation of these Terms.
  • You are responsible for the prompts you submit and your use of generated assets.

Credits, billing & refunds

The Service is usage-based and billed in credits. Paid plans and credit purchases are processed via Stripe. Except where required by law, fees and consumed credits are non-refundable. Plans renew until cancelled.

Intellectual property

Subject to your compliance with these Terms and applicable model provider terms, you own the assets you generate. We retain all rights in the Service itself, including our software, branding, and documentation.

Warranty disclaimer

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MediaEngine API will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the three months preceding the claim.

Changes & termination

We may update these Terms; material changes will be reflected by the date above. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time.
